I openly shared at the @minding_her_business event to the ladies I met for the first time that I am a mental health and fashion blogger. I shared that I have bipolar and I use social media to share my story in hope it’ll help someone. I go to a lot of events solo - and I much prefer going this way because it pushes me out of my comfort zone and you get to talk to everybody. I asked the question to the people on the empowerment panel: @samanthaheathwood @peterhull @sophie_guidolin @misskatiestevens @becky_lamb - “For women who are struggling with Depression and who are also in business, what word of encouragement would you give to them?” - and I loved all the panelists' answers. I learnt that it’s important to have a good routine, good goals and do what aligns with you as well as mental health can be a dangerous path for some people - if people reach out to you for help, don’t deny it. I can’t wait till for the next @minding_her_business event. It was so so inspiring and I loved networking with everyone.
