Baked Lemon Garlic Salmon 🐟
Pretty sure I have *almost* gotten salmon right this time. Love the delicate flavor of baked sweet lemons on top! But learn from my other mistakes, and of course this recipe can be used with any fish:
🔸Wash and pat dry 2 fillets - cut them in halves for best results
🔸Make a thick dressing with 4 spoons olive oil, 3 spoons buffalo sauce (substitute with tobasco or vinegar if required), 1 spoon dried mixed herbs, juice & zest of half a lemon, 3 large grated garlic pods, fresh chopped coriander/basil, garlic salt/regular salt, chilli flakes, crushed pepper, 1/2 spoon powder (optional)
🔸Prepare the pan by oiling it lightly. Slather the dressing all over and keep the fish for max 30 mins with the dressing, skin side down in the pan such that it doesn't touch the sides (it will stick if it touches)
🔸Place a few sweet lime slices on top, cover the pan with foil and bake skin side down in a preheated oven at 400c for 10-15 mins
🔸After 15 mins, flip the fish carefully with a large spatula and broil/grill skin side up for 4 mins. 🔸Serve hot with more buffalo sauce on the side!
